I was born in 1982 in Cologne, Germany. From an early age, I found joy in photography, but it wasn’t until I turned 16 that it became a more serious hobby.
Over the years, my passion has evolved, with a particular focus on black and white photography, where I love to play with high contrasts. I find the most fulfillment in capturing documentary-style images, where the rawness of reality comes through.
My work is heavily inspired by Daido Moriyama, whose approach to photography has deeply influenced my own.
I have a fascination with photographing subjects that show the passage of time, capturing the beauty in things that have aged and weathered the years.
Since january 2020, I mostly use a Ricoh GRIII. Older photos were taken using a Sony RX100, Nikon D5500 or Nikon D50.
